Our website is the frontline for UL Lafayette’s digital communication.
The Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø’s website enables us to reach audiences across the globe and is the platform with the most impact for telling our story and sharing our success. So, a unified web presence is key for solidifying our brand and uniting all people and aspects of the institution.
To ensure a unified web presence, official Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø sites should be visually related in order to preserve and promote the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø’s brand identity and provides optimal user experience.
All official Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø sites will be integrated into official Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø templates per the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø’s Web Policy. No new sites will be approved unless they are built by the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø within the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø's templates.
Only official sites for Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø offices, colleges, departments, and centers will be created using the official template and have a "louisiana.edu" domain.
We do not build sites for the following entities:
Website development approval is required from the Office of Communications and Marketing. Our team oversees and provides guidance for all sites within the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø, promoting an appropriate and coordinated Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø presence on the Internet. We also maintain and steward Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø web standards and serve as a resource, strategic planner, and consultant for Web development in the Ë÷Äá×ÊÔ´Íø community.
