Every semester, students can opt to withdrawal from a class with a grade of “W.” Dropping with a “W” will NOT affect your GPA and is the best option if you are at-risk of failing a course.
If you need to drop a class with a “W,” we suggest you meet with a professional advisor in the Academic Success Center to discuss the process of dropping a class and ensuring that other services you have with the Դ (TOPS, Financial Aid, Housing) will not be affected.
To meet with an advisor, you can stop by our office between 8 am and 4 pm (Monday-Thursday) and 8 am – 12 pm (Friday). Our office is in Lee Hall, room 115.
